Adrenal Nutrient Support
When looking at adrenal-specific nutrients, sodium, potassium, and magnesium all play key roles and can be rapidly depleted during times of high stress. We can better support an ideal ratio for these key minerals through our dietary choices and/or "dressing up our water" using the products below. Three of my favorite products to dress up your water with sodium and potassium are LMNT, Bumbleroot, and Adrenal Cocktail powder. LMNT is a great source of sodium, Bumbleroot provides around 20% of the RDA of potassium, and the Adrenal Cocktail mix provides both sodium and potassium, though in smaller amounts than LMNT and Bumbleroot individually.

Bump up your magnesium intake by adding mineral drops straight to your water.
Another great option for magnesium, this super-concentrated, transdermal magnesium is absorbed through the skin and a great option for the body when it's under stress and digestion is compromised (which could reduce the amount of magnesium you absorb from oral supplement form).

Magnesium lotion is a great everyday lotion to nourish your skin while raising cellular magnesium levels. 1 tsp is roughly equal to 200 mg of magnesium!
Boron, the primary mineral in Borax, can be added to foot baths or regular baths (start with 1 tsp and increase to 1-2 tbsp) to support blood sugar, help calcium get into the bones, help the body produce and use vitamin D better, reduce inflammation, and more.
In addition to being a good source of amino acids which we need for many functions in the body, gelatin helps improve our ability to digest food by attracting digestive juice that help us break down our food. I recommend this brand if you make any of the gummy recipes in the hub.
